Pistachio Kernel

The tree of this pistachio starts blooming in the first weeks of April. The harvest season for new crop is late September until Mid- October each year. So, we suggest booking your order for the new crop and contact us in the first weeks of September.

Our Pistachio Kernel customers are from all over the world. Such as Malaysia, India, China, United Arab Emirates, Hong Kong, Singapore, Germany, Switzerland, etc.

They import pistachios without shell is mostly for below uses:

  • Confectionery
  • Bakery and Pastry
  • Snacks and Power Bars
  • Ice Cream making
  • Chocolate Making
  • Bologna Making

We supply below Grades Pistachio Kernels:

  1. Round Pistachio Kernel from Round Pistachio, this type is more popular because of the competitive price.
  2. Jumbo Pistachio Kernel from Jumbo Grade A
  3. Long Pistachio Kernel, from Grade A and Grade B

There are two ways to make pistachio kernels:

  1. Machine: the result of the machining process has 10 to 15% waste
  2. by the operator, the waste rate is way lower than the machining process. It is about 3 to 7% of waste. Although this process has less waste rate, it is much more expensive than the first method of making kernels.

Normally, about 450 to 520 gr kernels are made from 1 kg of pistachios. If the ratio is not in this range, it will not be economic. The reason why it will not be economic for the customer is that is if a pistachio type has a kernel that is bigger 52 gr, the process of making pistachio kernels will be more expensive than buying the pistachio itself.

To Clarify, Our Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ) for Pistachio Kernel is 1-3 Tons. It depends on the transportation form the customer chooses.

Packing weights, we supply are as below:

  • 10 kg Carton
  • we can arrange other packing types per customer`s request

Exporters can load and ship Pistachio Kernel in 20 ft. and 40 ft. Dry containers. For your information we mentioned the loading capacity of containers as below:

  • 20 ft. Container: up to 13 Tons
  • 40 ft. Container: up to 25 Tons

Shelf life: One year after the production date.

Keeping condition: Users can keep these pistachios at room temperature. A room which has good air ventilation and it is free of dust. However, In our professional opinion, it is better to keep them in the Refrigerator which is cool (below 5 Centigrade) and dry with proper air ventilation.

Production Time: It depends on your needed quantity and packing type. So, It can vary between 15-25 working days.
